NPCD Foundation
Mission:
The NPCD Foundation is committed to providing local leadership and initiative in developing and conserving soil, water, and related resources in the Northern Panhandle counties of Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, and Marshall. They offer a balance of planning and management programs that protect, restore, and improve those resources through youth and adult education and outreach.
2026 NPCD Foundation Scholarship

The Northern Panhandle Conservation District Foundation plans to award four $2,500.00 scholarships. One graduating high school senior from each Northern Panhandle county (Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, and Marshall) will receive an award. Students may be awarded $500 for the first three years of schooling and $1,000 for the fourth year depending on available funding. Award funding for successive years is dependent upon the continued completion of criteria.

Must be a US Citizen.
Must be a graduating high school senior or currently working towards their first undergraduate degree.
Must be a resident of a Northern Panhandle County. (Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, Ohio)
Must have graduated or be graduating from a Northern Panhandle High School or Northern Panhandle Home School.
Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Must be majoring in one of the areas of study listed on page two.

A list of three people (with addresses and phone numbers) who know you well enough to support this application. One of the people must be your academic advisor/professor/guidance counselor. Also, no relatives may be a reference.
Application must be filled out completely. An OFFICIAL transcript must be provided by the school.
The school of higher education must provide proof of enrollment and area of certification.
